DAY 24

5:30 pm

Mulder walked back onto the office and tossed a package to Scully.

She caught it easily in one and hand and examined it. "A Twinkie?"

Mulder shrugged. "You look like you needed a Twinkie."

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?"

Mulder looked innocently at her. "It makes me feel good to buy you a Twinkie, so shut up and eat it."

Scully let out a restrained chuckle and opened her middle right hand drawer and dropped the treat into the pile of other Twinkies, HoHo's, and assorted high fructose preservative filled processed foods. Then glanced at her watch. "Well Mulder I think it’s time to call it a day."

He nodded. "It’s been some day."

Scully smiled and walked over to him after pulling of her coat. "Um… You want to… Go to dinner?"

Mulder grinned. "Are you asking me out Scully?"

She let out an annoyed breath and shut her eyes turning away. "Never mind."

He laughed and grabbed his own coat. "Wait up Scully…"
